About us

Tamiti Whāngai Hauora services delivered by Te Rūnanga to address the needs of whanau across the lifespan. They include:

• Midwifery/hapu ora
• Well Child Tamariki Ora
• Breastfeeding support services
• Medical Centre GP serviceshānau Ora services
• Health promotion services

Outreach services are held in community centres and on Marae and include cervical screening and health promotion enabling access for people who have difficulty in accessing centre-based services or who feel more comfortable accessing such services within a matāuranga Māori context.

These services are delivered from the Waiwhetu Medical Centre and from our Kokiri Puketapu and Tamariki Ora buildings at 148 Whites Line East, Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt.
