He Tangata is a driver’s license training programme that assists people to gain learner, restricted and full drivers licenses. This service works closely with the other Rūnanga services, and recognises that a lack of a drivers license is often a barrier to employment and that many rangatahi will not be able to go into an apprenticeship or attend education institutions without one.

Te Rūnanga has trained driving instructors, Konga Reriti & Solomona Priest.
