Clinics

Te Rūnanganui o Te Āti Awa host the following clinics. The clinics are delivered by external providers. The focus of these clinics are Māori and Pacific whānau living in Te Awa Kairangi or others enrolled in the other Rūnanga services.

 

Mirimiri Rongoā Clinic 

• Tuesdays with Shar Rua (kaimirimiri) & Angel Waitai (kaimirimiri in training)
• Fridays with Alex McCulloch
• One-hour appointments
• Cost: Adults $50 / Kaumatua $25 / Free for ACC clients (process to be completed prior to confirming booking)
• Located at the Kōkiri Puketapu building

Hearing Clinic (Your way Kia Roha) 

• Free service for 16 years and above
• Every 2nd Friday every month
• Located at the Kōkiri Puketapu building

Hapū Ora Clinic (Te Whatū Ora)

• Monday & Tuesday clinic located at Te Āti Awa Ora Wainuiomata, 17 Fraser Street. Parking and building entrance via Simmons Grove.
• Thursday clinic located at the Kōkiri Puketapu Building

• Early pregnancy advice for māmā and pēpi
• Pregnancy care and advice
• Access to stop smoking
• Taking care of yourself
• Breastfeeding help
• Safe sleep
• Contraception

 

Microsuction Clinic (Hutt Valley Hearing Trust) 

• Free service
• Adult clinic and tamariki clinic
• Adhoc
• Located at the Kōkiri Puketapu building
