Te Rā o te Raukura 2021

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Te Rā o te Raukura Ltd has made the decision to not hold  the annual event in 2021, instead delivering it as a virtual celebration of Māori culture and language, incorporating information and support for whānau well being. This ‘virtual’ Te Rā o te Raukura will be delivered over a week, with on-line content and special broadcasts on Āti Awa Toa FM. This content will include interviews, kapa haka, waiata, performances by local artists and stories about Te Awa Kairangi and its people.

Throughout the week of 25th January – 30th January 2021, our on-line content will be available on our Te Rā o te Raukura Facebook page and Āti Awa Toa FM will be presenting a special week of broadcast

The content will meet the kaupapa and values of Te Rā o te Raukura to support cultural connection, spiritual connection, community outreach and promote social cohesion.

We thank you very much for your continued support. We hope you will join us when we return  to Te Whiti Park in 2022.
