What is Te Ara Tūhono?

Te Ara Tūhono is our free and independent navigation service available to help you understand what support ACC can offer, how to access it and what you’re entitled to when you’ve had an injury or accident.

Te Ara Tūhono is there to uplift and create a safe and mana-enhancing experience to connect you with all the information you need to understand your journey with ACC. Whether its understanding a letter, making a new claim or getting help with a review, our Kaiārahi are here to walk alongside you.

What our Kaiārahi can do for you:

• Help you to understand the supports and services you can get through ACC.
• Connect you with providers and other support.
• Help you lodge a new claim and apply for the right support.
• Support you through an existing claim including any disputes or declines.
• Break down the the jargon and help you understand your rights.
